Rasmussen is a big fearless player who works hard every single shift. Rasmussen could be a very good secondary scorer with a good net front presence allowing him to get the dirty goals.
That's not to say he can't shoot to score. He has a very good shot, good on ice vision and makes a very good pass. He battles hard for pucks all over the ice including the defensive zone. He's an average skater with average speed.
Rasmussen is also a very good and strong fighter and once he adds more bulk, he will be even harder to beat.
