Brandon Alderson - 6'4" - 195 lbs
The 6'4" power forward who was ranked 154th by Central Scouting in 2010, somehow went undrafted.
Now entering his second season in the OHL, he posted 13 goals and 11 assists with 30 PIM in his rookie season in 62 games. So what happened?
He possesses great speed for his size and has a good finish. He started the season showing he has offensive ability but lacked in the physical department. Once he found his physical game, his offensive game disappeared. He has the tools and just needs to put it all together. He could be a real attractive project for a team that isn't looking for someone to step in the the next couple of years.
He's off to a good start this season with 5 goals and 4 assists in 12 games. And he is using his size and skating. The only question now is, can he maintain that consistency?
Nathan Chiarlitti - 6'0" - 185 lbs.
One of the hardest workers on the ice whenever he is out there makes him a leader. Rarely loses one on one battles. He has an active stick and positions himself well defensively.
He could use more speed, especially on his initial strides. He;s not known as an offensive defenseman but put up respectable numbers last season with 7 goals and 14 assists in 67 games.
Kyle Flemington - 6'7" - 225 lbs
The 6'7" giant is now in his third season in the OHL and second with Sarnia, having come over from Saginaw last season. Last season in 41 games split between Sarnia and Saginaw, he registered 1 assist and was a minus 13.
He won't be an offensive force but could be an excellent shut down defenseman with a mean streak.

Kitchener Rangers - 1992's - Undrafted in 2010
Ryan MacLean - 6' - 158 lbs
MacLean was claimed off waivers from the Soo Greyhounds, mainly because they had an uncertainty at forward with jeff Skinner and Jeremy Morin at NHL camps. The Greyhounds had cut MacLean free because of his lack of size. In 2008/09, he potted 2 goals for the Soo in 30 games.
He is also the son of Rangers scout Gordon MacLean, but that doesn't mean anything to Steve Spot when he's trying to acquire players. MacLean is a project and Spott knows that.
Able to play wing or center, MacLean is a very good penalty killer and will be a depth forward.

Kingston Frontenacs - 1992's - Undrafted in 2010
Charles Sarault - 5'10 - 182 lbs
Michal Cajkovsky - 6'3" - 208 lbs
Nicknamed "Big Mike" by his teammates, Cajkovsky is another of the Frontenacs towering defensemen.
He can play in all situations and can be one tough customer, both physically and in the fight department. He also has some leadership qualities, being named an Assistant Captain for Slovakia at the U18 tournament in Belarus.
Already 8 games in, he has 1 goal and 1 assist with a couple of big fights. Warning: Don't go after one of his star teammates. Or you will pay the price.
Now entering his third season with the Fronts, Sarault played in 150 games the previous two seasons scoring 6 goals and 19 assists.
In year one he had very limited ice time, but in his second year, they were expecting more from Sarault and it didn't materialize.
Sarault, is small 5'10, is a real spark plug that provides a lot of energy. He has top notch speed in the offensive zone. He keeps his feet moving when on the forecheck. He's has some offensive ability, especially as a playmaker, but he sometimes tries to get to fancy. He needs to make the easy play more often.
Derek Froats - 5'11" - 178 lbs
Now in his second season with the Frontenacs, Froats was somewhat of a suprise in his rookie season scoring 14 goals and 9 assists in 61 games with 70 penalty minutes.
The sophomore forward can skate like the wind. Froats found one part of his game that he and everyone else never thought existed, and that was to fight
Froats became asset in every sense of the word. He played hurt, blocked shots, scored the occasional goal and was not afraid to drop the gloves. There were those that even suggested he had some very good leadership qualities for the future.
Which brings us to the 2010-11 season, and 7 games in, Froats has yet to play a game.
Patrick Harrison - 6'1" - 190 lbs
Harrison takes pride in his defensive game. While he's not small at 6'1, he pales in comparisson to his favorite player Zdeno Chara of the Boston Bruins.
Drafted in the 12th round in the 2008 priority draft , 225th overall, Harrison showed that he has some offensive ability. In 2009/10, playing for the Ottawa Jr A Senators, he played in 54 games and scored 6 times while adding 20 assists to go along with 58 penalty minutes.

Quelph Storm - 1992's - Undrafted in 2010
Francis Menard - 6' - 184 lbs
Menard is in his second season with the Storm. In his rookie season he played in 65 games scoring 7 goals and adding 8 assists along with 36 penalty minutes.
Menard is a very good skater who works hard and plays with a tremendous amount of determination. The shifty winger is a good playmaker with a scoring touch. In 2009 he helped lead Notre Dame College to the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Championship when he scored 19 goals and 18 assists in 36 games and followed that up with 4 goals and 4 assists in 10 playoff games.
David Searle - 6'6 - 226 lbs
There aren't many players bigger than the Storm's defenseman. This is Searle's third seaon with the Storm, although he has only played a combined 13 games in the prior 2 seasons.
The stay at home defenseman had to battle his way onto a Storm lineup with plenty fo defensemen at their disposal. His size alone will draw interest from NHL scouts and GM's and he could very well turn out to be a good find in the later rounds for an NHL team.

Brampton Battalion - 1992's - Undrafted in 2010
Domenic Alberga - 6`1`- 179 lbs
Alberga enters his second season in the OHL with the Battalion. In his rookie season he posted 5 goals and 13 assists along with 68 penalty minutes in 63 games.
In his prios season in the OPJHL he wom rookie of the year playing for the Villanova Knights where he scored 14 goals and 40 points in 49 games.
Alberga is an average skater with average speed, but he likes to get in on the forecheck. Once he gets more bulk added to his frame, he can become more successful in the physical department. He drives hard to the net with or without the puck. He`s a hard worker and a good playmaker with some scoring ability.
Alex O`Neil - 6`- 205 lbs
Big and Strong. o`Neil though is with the Battalion as an enforcer basically.
He will fight hard along the boards and will drop his gloves to go against anyone, whether its to stand up for a teammate or to give his team a boost.
Unfortunately for O`Neil, players like that are a dime a dozen.
Cameron Wind - 6`1` - 209 lbs
Wind, entering his 3rd season with the Battalion, has posted 3 goals and 11 assists in 94 games in those two seasons.
He was invited to the Nashville Predators training camp and returned back to junior. His size for a defenseman had some NHL scouts taking a good look at him last season.
Wind has good mobility and has the ability to skate the puck up ice once he gets more confidence. He has offensive ability, but i think he lacks the confidence. He also posseses a good physical ability.
This season is a make or break season for Wind.

Belleville Bulls - 1992`s - Undrafted in 2010
Braeden Corbeth - 5`11`` - 189 lbs
Corbeth is in his second season with the Bulls. In his rookie year he posted 2 goals and 3 assists in 49 games.
Corbeth is a very good skater with high end speed, but he lacks in the finishing department although he did very well offensively in a summer league this past summer. It remains to be seen whether he can bring it to the next level.
Corbeth is a hard worker that doesn`t give up and will need to add strength as his size doesn`t allow him to win most battles.
Julian Luciani - 5`11`` - 182 lbs
Luciani is a small defenseman who enters his third season with the Bulls, albeit his first season saw him play only 2 games. Last season, after being recalled from the Wellington Dukes of the OJHL, he appeared in 43 games, scoring once and adding 6 assists.
Luciani is a smooth skater, not with overwhelming speed, but he plays with a lot of heart, desire and passion. He plays gritty which shows in his willingness to drop the gloves with anyone and defend his teammates.
Branden Morris - 6`4 - 189 lbs
Morris is in his third OHL season, with his first 2 as a member of the Kitchener Rangers. Last season with the Rangers, he played in 25 games registering 6 assists. He is still looking for his first OHL goal.
Morris is currently recovering from a broken wrist and is not expected to return to the lineup until the end of October. It remains to be seen how that will affect his game, as wrist injuries sometimes take away from a players game.
He`s a good skater and plays well defensively. Has a decent shot from the point. He is okay in the physical department but will really need to add some bulk to his frame. He will need 30 - 35 pounds to bring his size up to the NHL.

Barrie Colts - 1992's - Undrafted in 2010
Steven Beyers - 5'11" - 180 lbs
Byers was selected in the 2008 Priority Draft by Sudbury (3rd round, 42nd overall)and played the last 2 seasons with the Orangeville Crushers of the OJHL where he put up good offensive numbers. The Colts acquired him in August for a 2nd round pick in 2011.
Beyers is 1/3 of the Rookie Line with Mark Scheifele at center and Tanner Pearson on left wing. The trio had an excellent preseason and a very good start to the OHL regular season. Coach Dale Hawerchuk thinks they can be one of the best lines in the OHL.
A solid 5`11 Beyers is a competitor who never gives up. He plays both sides of the puck, is a good skater with offensive ability and a good playmaker.
2008-09 Orangeville Crushers OJHL 34 15 16 31 12
2009-10 Orangeville Crushers OJHL 16 11 12 23 4
Tanner Pearson - 6`192 lbs
Pearson is the third member of the rookie line. Pearson was selected in the 14th round, 266th overall in the 2008 OHL Priority Draft.
Pearson is a good playmaker with a good scoring touch. In 2 seasons with the Waterloo Siskins on the OJHL, Pearson played in 103 games, scoring 44 goals and 74 assists for 118 points, with 70 of those points coming last season.
He has a good accurate shot, strong on the puck and battles hard. Like his linemates, he is one of the hardest working players on the ice.
Like Beyers, Pearson had a good preseason and has had a good start to the season for the Colts. Pearson had drawn some interest from NHL scouts last season and should get more looks now in the OHL.
John Padulo - 6` - 183 lbs
Padulo is in his 3rd season in the OHL with his previous 2 seasons being with the Oshawa generals. Last season, in 56 games, he recorded 7 goals and 11 assists to go along with 48 penalty minutes.
He was originally selected by Oshawa in the third round of the 2008 Priority Draft. The Colts acquired him for a 5th round pick in the 2015 Priority Draft.
Padulo could turn out to be a good energy player with a little offensive ability.
Mitch Bennett - 6`3`- 200 lbs
Bennett has the size to be a power forward at the OHL and NHL levels. The former 5th round pick, 86th overall in 2008 lacks in the offensive department though.
The OHL tough guy can fight though. And in my opinion, that`s the role he would have on an NHL team, enforcer.
