Kitchener Rangers - 1992's - Undrafted in 2010

Ryan MacLean - 6' - 158 lbs

MacLean was claimed off waivers from the Soo Greyhounds, mainly because they had an uncertainty at forward with jeff Skinner and Jeremy Morin at NHL camps. The Greyhounds had cut MacLean free because of his lack of size. In 2008/09, he potted 2 goals for the Soo in 30 games.

He is also the son of Rangers scout Gordon MacLean, but that doesn't mean anything to Steve Spot when he's trying to acquire players. MacLean is a project and Spott knows that.

Able to play wing or center, MacLean is a very good penalty killer and will be a depth forward.
