Festarini was selected in the 5th round of the 2009 Priority draft and after spending last season with Port Colborne of the GOHL where he faced a lot of rubber, has made the jump to the OHL's Erie Otters this season.
Festarini is technically sound. He squares himself exceptionally well, sees through bodies to see the puck, has good rebound control and very quick reflexes. Confidence may be the one thing Festarini needss more than anything to succeed in the OHL. How much time he will get backing up Ramis Sadikov remains to be seen.
