Brett Morgan - Kingston Frontenacs
6'3 - 196 lbs
Once Morgan fills out his 6'3" frame, he will have all the tools and tenacity to be a good power forward with NHL potential.
Last season, once his Vaughan Vipers were eliminated from the playoffs, Morgan got a taste of what it will be like in the OHL after he was called up for a couple of games.
In 48 games with the Vipers, Morgan registered 7 goals and 4 assists to go along with 32 PIM.
Not known for his playmaking ability, he posses an average scoring potential. The second round pick in the Priority Draft, Morgan comes with potential. But he has things that he needs to work on. His skating and defensive game need to improve first and foremost.
Morgan can be a good pick up in later rounds of the NHL Entry Draft for a team that has the patience and allowance to develop him. And that's what Morgan will need to develop for the next level.
