The host Mississauga St Mikes Majors defeated the OHL Champion Owen Sound Attack 3-1 on Wednesday to map out the uncharted remains of the Memorial Cup.
Owen Sound is now tied in third with the Kootenay Ice of the WHL and the two will face off in a tie breaker on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. The game is televised on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada and on NHL Network in the USA.
The loser will go home with a fourth place finish. The winner moves onto the semi finals and will face the Majors with the winner of that game going against the QMJHL Champion St John Sea Dogs on Sunday for the Memorial Cup.
