OHL Playoffs - Day 24

Windsor 5 Saginaw 0 - Windsor wins series 4-2 (Prediction: Saginaw in 6)

Decisive. That's the only way to describe this victory by the Spitfires. Jack Campbell stopped 25 shots for his second shutout of the series while Windsor fired 38 pucks at Mavric Parks.

Alex Khokhlachev opened the scoring with his 7th of the playoffs on the powerplay at the 7:19 mark with the assists going to Tom Kuhnhackl and Adrian Robertson. Zack Kassian would score his first of three alson on the powerplay at 19:17 of the period to put Windsor up 2-0. Stephen Johnston and Taylor Carnevale would notch the assists.

Kassian would then score his second of the game from Kenny Ryan at 8:58 of the second to go up 3-0. Sevario Posa would set up Jeff Brown for his 4th at 14:39 to close out the second period with Windsor up 4-0.

Zack Kassian would score the only goal of the third, his third of the game and fifth of the playoffs unassisted to make the final 5-0 at 6:31 of the period.

The Spitfires now go on to meet the Owen Sound Attack in the Western Conference Finals begining on Tuesday.
