There are many reporst on twitter and the internet world saying Matt Puempel's season is over. Peterborough GM Dave Reid however, states that he is considering Puempel week to week until there is confirmation from the Doctors that season ending surgery is required.

This could be a serious blow to Puempel, who is in his draft year and is projected to be a first round pick. Puempel is the second OHL star that may have a serious injury. There are some reorts that say Ryan Strome, a projected top 10 pick, has a concussion, but there is no confirmation on that yet.
