Super Saturday

Tobias Rieder Is quietly showing why many called him possibly the best German player ever. Saturday he added another goal and assist and now has a season total of 5 goals and 6 assists in 6 games. Ryan Murphy added an assist to stay atop the OHL scoring lead. Erie's David Broll was kept off the score sheet.

Belleville's Austen Brassard had an assist and defenseman Steven Strong who's off to a great start this season was held pointless. For Sarnia, 2012 draft eligible Nail Yakupov continues his scoring assault in the OHL with a goal and assist last night.

London Knights goaltender Michael Houser was fantastic in goal despite allowing 4 goals on 38 shots and coming off a shut out Friday night. Seth Griffith contributed 2 assists bring him to 6 for the season. Vladislav Namestnikov added a goal and an assist and continues to lead the Knights in scoring. For Windsor, Alex Khokhlachev scored once and was dominant all over the ice all night long.

The Niagara Ice Dogs continue to roll. Ryan Strome had 2 assists giving him 3 goals and 9 assists and a plus 10 on the season in 7 games.

In Owen Sound, Cameron Brace had a goal for the Attack while Barclay Goodrow was held pointless for Brampton.
