The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Joey Hishon of the Owen Sound Attack is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 24.
In two games Hishon scored four goals and four assists for eight points with a plus-minus rating of plus-4 and becomes the second straight member of the Attack to win this award following teammate Garrett Wilson. Hishon returned to the Attack lineup on Friday night and scored two goals while adding an assist despite a 7-5 loss to the Sarnia Sting. On Saturday night, Hishon led the Attack offense with a five-point game in a rematch with the Sting scoring two goals and three assists as first star of the 9-4 win.
