An Early Look at Adam Larsson ?

The Niagara IceDogs will once again be welcoming international competition to the Gatorade Garden City Complex on December 23rd, 2010 at 7pm, as they play host to Sweden vs. Switzerland in a World Junior Pre-Competition game.  The game will be a rematch of the bronze medal match-up at the 2010 World Juniors, where Sweden was able to defeat the surprising Swiss to take home the bronze and should be a great game.

This pre-competition game follows in the footsteps of the Canada-Russia Challenge game held at the Gatorade Garden City Complex back in 2008.  While many would consider the Gatorade Garden City Complex too small and old for these types of international competition, the incredible fan support in Niagara has made for such a great atmosphere that the IceDogs have been able to secure a game involving international teams for a second time in their short time in the region.

This game will once again provide local fans a great opportunity to see some fantastic international competition locally for a very reasonable price.

Tickets for this game will be made available to season ticket holders only up until November 1st, with all remaining tickets going on sale to the general public on November 1 through all IceDogs ticket outlets.  Those outlets include the team’s 35 Queen St. office, the arena box office (game days only starting 2 hours prior to the game), the Pen Centre Customer Service Desk, the Seaway Mall Customer Service Desk, the Money Mart on Ferry St. in Niagara Falls and through all Ticketmaster outlets, including online at www.ticketmaster.ca and by phone at 905-481-4444.

Ticket prices for this game will be at normal IceDogs walk-up ticket rates of $19.50 for premium seating, $18.50 for end seating and $14.00 for standing room.

This game will be the final tune-ups for Sweden and Switzerland as they head into the 2011 World Junior Hockey Championships coming to Buffalo this holiday season and the Niagara IceDogs and their fans look forward to helping send the teams off to Buffalo in style.
Don't miss out on this great opportunity to catch some world class hockey right in your own backyard, make sure to get your tickets November 1st starting at 10am!
