Although MacKinnon is a Knights prospect eligible for the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, I don't expect him to be drafted. With the Knights set in goal with Michael Houser and Igor Babkov, and the still unknown situation with Michael Hutchinson still at the Providence Bruins camp, there is little chance MacKinnon will see any playing time barring an injury with the Knights.
There is also the chance that Babkov could be in goal for the Russians at the World Junior Championships giving MacKinnon a callup to the Knights, but chances are he won't get a start.
He's a small goaltender playing for Chatham in the GOJHL now.
