Matt MacLeod

Matt MacLeod - Brampton Battalion
6' 2" - 180 lbs

The 6'2" right winger has power forward potential written all over him if he can add some bulk. Last season for the Battalion, MacLeod recorded 6 goals and 10 assists in 57 games to go along with 13 PIM.

The 3rd round pick, 52nd overall, has soft hands around the net. He works very hard each and every shift, is not afraid to battle in front of the net or in the corners. If he adds some strength and bulk, he should win most of his battles because he works so hard.

MacLeod has a very good hockey sense. He will need to work on his skating and speed. He was brought along slowly by the Battalion last season but should get more playing time and quality minutes this season. Playing behind Barclay Goodrow should open up some offensive opportunities for McLeod.
